Dadson Awunyo-Vitor worked briefly with Capital Alliance Company as an investment advisor and a Broker on Ghana Stock Exchange before joining the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi as Assistant Internal Auditor and later transferred to lecture at the KNUST School of Business and Department of Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness and extension respectively.
He has also worked with Asamoa Bonsu & Co (Chartered Accountants) on several audit assignments. Awunyo-Vitor has led a team of consultants to evaluate Cocoa Cooperatives in Ivory Coast on behalf of Solidaridad, Netherlands. He has equally led a team of consultants for a reformulation of project activities and the development of project budget for the Agrofair Assistant for Development (AFAD), Netherlands. Awunyo-Vitor equally led a team of consultant to prepare marketing concept for the phase II of the Food Crops Development Project for financing by African Development Bank, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), Ghana.).
Dadson Awunyo-Vitor is a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) Ghana, Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIT) Ghana. Dadson obtained PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ghana. He is a graduate of Imperial College, University of London, where he studied for MSc Agricultural Economics. He also had his Bachelor degree from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi in Agriculture with first class honours. He studied for Postgraduate Diploma in Management Information System (MIS) at the Ghana Institute of Management Public Administration (GIMPA), and Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the University of Cape coast. He has also completed the professional certificate course in security trading and investment analysis at the Ghana Stock Exchange.
